General Notes: Husband - Jesse Mason
He was a carpenter by trade. About 1770 he removed to Lanesborough, Berkshire, Massachusetts. He served in the Revolutionary War as a private in Captain Daniel Brown's company. The company was called into service, August 14, 1777, on an alarm from Lanesborough, Massachusetts, and fought at the battle of Bennington. He served a second time in Captain Daniel Brown's company, Colonel Benjamin Simon's regiment, in October, 1780. The company rendered service at Berkshire, Massachusetts.
