General Notes: Husband - John Orr

---

He removed from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to Clearfield County, in 1843, locating on Chest creek near the site of the Mahaffey Mills, where he purchased a large tract of wild land and improved a farm. He also built a sawmill, and was extensively engaged in the manufacture of lumber.
