General Notes: Husband - William McLarn
He was reared on a farm in Findlay township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he resided until 1847. He was educated at the old log schoolhouse, early in life learned the cooper's trade, and worked for one firm thirty-seven years. He owned one hundred acres of land, eighty of which are underlaid with coal, and superintended the work on his farm. He was a member of the U. P. Church, and a republican.
