General Notes: Husband - Robert McKinnie
He was left an orphan in his childhood and was brought up by his aunt, Elizabeth McKinnie. He inherited from his father a large tract of land and lived on his farm until 1865, when he removed to Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. McKinnie was a typical Irish gentleman and a lover of the chase.
