General Notes: Husband - Isaac McKinney
His parents moved to Cranberry township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 1833. At that date, there were but few improvements, only nine acres of cleared land, and a log cabin, on a farm of two hundred acres. His education was of the schools of those days, and he was reared a farmer. He lived eighteen years on another Cranberry township farm, where his brother Samuel would later reside, and came from thence to the old homestead, in the spring of 1872.
