General Notes: Husband - George Marsteller

---

He was a young boy when he accompanied his parents to America. In 1844 he and his wife left their Trumbull County home in Ohio and located on a farm in New Vernon Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The journey was made with oxen and wagon, and their first night in Mercer County was spent at the old Lyon House in Mercer. They spent the remainder of their lives in Mercer County. They had twelve children, that last to pass away died in 1908.
