He was a son of James Rosborough and Mary Demeer, and this James was a son of James Rosborough, Sr., and Rebecca Denny. [HIC 1880, 436] But this seems very unlikely since dates given for those involved do not fit this scenario, and the son(s) of James, Jr., named Alexander are accounted for otherwise.
