General Notes: Husband - John Wilson
He came to America from Ireland before the Revolution and settled in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. He served in the Revolutionary army as one of Washington's life guards for three years.
In 1786 he located near the site of Denniston's town, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. In 1795 he removed to the late R. W. Allison, later the Arthur Sutton farm, White township, Indiana County. While residing in each of these localities, they were troubled by the Indians, and forced to retire to more safe habitations.
