General Notes: Husband - George W. Lobingier


He was educated at Washington and Jefferson College, read law with Henry F. Schell, at Somerset, Pennsylvania, admitted to that bar, practiced law at Lanark, Illinois, entered the ministry in 1867, preached for the Disciples at Pine Flats, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, Pittston, New York, Tonawanda, New York, West Rupert, Vermont, and Hebron, Nebraska.

He was educated at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, Pennsylvania; read law with Henry F. Schell, Esq., of Somerset, Pennsylvania, and was admitted to the bar and practiced in Illinois; subsequently entered the ministry of the Church of Christ (Disciples) in 1867; resided in Hebron, Thayer County, Nebraska, a number of years, where he was nominated for the office of judge of the county court of that county, without his knowledge, and while he was scores of miles distant engaged in preaching the gospel; was elected in November, 1881, to that position, without any personal solicitation on his part and was re-elected twice after that, and served three terms in that office.
