General Notes: Husband - Isaac Wright

He came to America with his father in 1828, first locating near Fort London, in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Three of his brothers had preceded him to this country.

He was born in the County of Kent, England, and there received his education in the common schools. He was a man of unusual intelligence, a deep thinker, and read more than the average. Like his brothers he learned the trade of wagonmaker, but after coming to America, in 1826, he was principally engaged in farming, having a farm in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, eight miles from Loudon, a farm which he improved greatly during the many years he resided there. He was a Democrat in politics.

With his second wife he also had several children that died young.

General Notes: Wife - Mary Ann Mackey

from Franklin Co, PA

She was a member of the U. B. Church.
