General Notes: Husband - James McClure


He was a farmer and miller; was prothonotary of Perry County, Pennsylvania, and held many offices of trust, serving as administrator of estates, and guardian of minor children. He was prominent in the Presbyterian church, and served many years as trustee. He spent his last days in New Bloomfield, where he purchased a home later owned by one of his daughters.
