LUSHER, Peggy A. (Miller) - Age 70, died Friday, December 20, 1996 at the residence. A memorial service will be held at 7PM Thursday, December 26, 1996 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, The Reverend Canon F. Robert Davidson officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Home Hospice. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 5PM until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lusher was born in Flint, Michigan on January 24, 1926 and was a resident of Grand Blanc and Flint most of her life. She married Duane O. Lusher on December 23, 1944 in Flint. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #413. Mrs. Lusher was employed by T. R. Moen Manufacturing, as Vice-President for 15 years. Surviving are her husband, Duane O. Lusher; sister, Janet and husband Robert Taylor of Grand Blanc; niece, Carol and husband Joe Banfield of Grand Blanc; several cousins.

Grand Blanc Couple Wed
Grand Blanc - Duane O. Lusher, yeoman third class, and his bride, the former Peggy Ann Miller, whose marriage was an event of Saturday at 8 P. M. in Court Street Methodist Church, will leave Tuesday for Washington, D. C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Miller, Grand Blanc, and her husband is the son of Mrs. Royal Green, also of Grand Blanc. He is stationed at Solomons, Md. The service was read in the presence of the immediate families by the Rev. Harry Lord. The bride wore a gray suit and an orchid corsage and was attended by her sister, Janet Lee Miller. Pfc. Rooney Sadler, marine, home on furlough from South Pacific, was best man. A reception will be held today in the bride's home, 6351 E. Maple Rd., Grand Blanc.
