LUSHER-On Sat., Nov. 29, 1941, at the Braddock General Hospital, Eugene, of 7538 Melrose St., Swissvale, husband of Viola Lusher. Friends received at the Elkin Mortuary, 4th St., N. Braddock, until Monday noon. Services and burial at Rockland, Pa., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 2 p. m.

Eugene S. Lusher.
Eugene S. Lusher, 50, of Swissvale, died in a Pittsburgh hospital at 6 p. m. Saturday, following a short illness, according to word received by relatives at Rockland.
Mr. Lusher was born near Grove City.
He is survived by his wife, the former Viola Rose Lusher, of Rockland, and one sister, Mrs. Laura Perrine, of Grove City.
Funeral services were conducted at the home of his father-in-law, J. C. C. Lusher, at Davis Corners, at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. W. R. Ross of the Rockland Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Rockland Cemetery.

Friends were shocked to learn of the death of Eugene S. Lusher, which occurred in a Pittsburgh hospital, at 6 o'clock Saturday evening. Mr. Lusher had been in poor health during the summer, but had been able to return to his work at the Mesta Machine Tool Co. about six weeks ago. He was taken suddenly ill and developed pneumonia. His body was brought to the home of J. C. Lusher in Rockland, where funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by the Rev. W. R. Ross, pastor of the Rockland Methodist Church, Mr. Lusher is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. Laura Perrine, of Grove City. Interment was made in the Rockland Cemetery.

Viola R. Lusher
MOGADORE - Viola R. Lusher, 97, died May 12 at the Summit County Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Akron, was formerly of Rockland, Pa., and returned to the Akron-Mogadore area in 1944. Mrs. Lusher was a member of the Mogadore Christian Church and their Bethany Class.
She is survived by niece and nephew, Roy C. Reeser Jr. of Redington Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Doris Skye of Mogadore; and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Saturday, 3 p.m., at the Hopkins Lawver, MOGADORE, Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., Rev. Eugene Higgins officiating. Burial Rockland Cemetery, Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home, 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society; or the Children's Hospital Oncology Department.
