General Notes: Husband - John McCune
His early years were spent on a farm, and the active period of his life was devoted to agricultural pursuits. For nearly forty years he resided in Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and his death occurred in that township.
He settled in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, soon after his marriage, and although he made several removals for short periods resided in the county during the greater part of his life and died in Jeannette. In politics he was a Republican, and in his religious faith was a regular attendant, although not a member, of the Presbyterian church.
