General Notes: Husband - John H. Lemmon
He was a blacksmith by trade. During the Rebellion he served in Co. K, 78th reg., Pa. Vols. for one year, and was discharged on account of his eyesight failing. He was a member of the Protestant Episcopal church, and after the Civil War was a stanch republican. He filled the
office of coroner of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, for several terms.
