General Notes: Husband - Robert T. Love

He was brought up in the country where he attended the common schools and worked as a farm hand. For seven years he thus worked for John Rugh, then took the Hugh farm "on the shares" and continued to run it until 1861 when he removed to South Huntingdon township, Westmoreland County. He remained there but two years and then purchased part of the Hugh farm, on which he then resided. He was an active democrat and served several terms as assessor and school director of his township. Both he and his wife were members of the M. E. church.
