Philadelphia, PA

He was a carpenter by trade. At one time he owned and operated the Mingo mills, near Royersford, Pennsylvania; afterwards operated an oil mill in Philadelphia. He also carried on the mercantile business at Lucon, Montgomery County, and for many years proprietor and owner of a hotel at Germantown and Lehigh avenues, Philadelphia. Later he was living on Dauphin street and Tenth, Philadelphia; retired at an advanced age.
