General Notes: Husband - Joseph Loutzenhiser
He was reared on the old homestead in Mercer County, PA, and followed farming up to early manhood. He then went to Greenville, where for many years he was engaged in the mercantile business, and also in the foundry and coal trade. He then purchased a farm and flouring mill. Mr. Loutzenhiser had a brickyard on his farm, which he carried on for several years, later it was operated by his son, Charles. The latter was also proprietor of the mill.

She was born in Fayette County, PA, and moved to West Salem Township, Mercer County, with her parents when seven years old.
