General Notes: Husband - Christopher Wineland

For a number of years he lived as a farmer on the family homestead, after which he moved to Unity township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where for six years he engaged in farming. He moved to the Ligonier valley in 1894, and there passed the remainder of his life on a farm. His career as an agriculturist suffered one interruption, which was during the Civil War, when he enlisted in the Union army and served three months.
