General Notes: Husband - Daniel Reamer, Jr.


He attended Greensburg public schools, and later enrolled at Otterbein College at Westerville, Ohio, being graduated in 1878 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts. He entered the law offices of McAfee, Atkinson and Peoples in Toledo, Iowa, to pursue the study of law, and in 1881 he was admitted to the Iowa bar. He practiced law in Toledo, Iowa, until October, 1901, when he came to Monessen to establish his office in that section. Being well versed in all phases of the law, Mr. Reamer rapidly built up a substantial practice.
Mr. Reamer was a member of the United Brethren Church, a staunch Republican, and prominent in local civic and fraternal affairs. He was president of the Monessen School Board in 1907, and burgess from 1909 to 1914. He was elected a member of the City Council in 1934. He was a member of the 10th Regiment, Company I, of the Greensburg National Guard, from 1878 to 1881, and is a past member of the Monessen Kiwanis Club. He is a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Westmoreland County Bar Association and the Monessen Chamber of Commerce.
