General Notes: Husband - Jacob Wolford


He enlisted in June, 1862, in the Fourteenth Pennsylvania Cavalry, was killed by a shot through the head. At the time of his death he was detailed to carry dispatches from Light House Landing to Gen. Grant's headquarters on the Potomac.
