General Notes: Husband - Elmer Robert Bailey

He bought a farm April 1, 1903, where all seven of their children were born. He operated a coal mine on this farm for several years, also received considerable notice for his herd of Black Angus cattle. He was a partner in the Sloan and Bailey Hardware in Grove City, PA, for a number of years. He continued farming and raising cattle until the autumn before his death.
