General Notes: Husband - Matthias Minton
He and his brother, Philip, emigrated from Morris County, New Jersey, to Morris township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1786. They purchased a part of the tract "Fox Chase," warranted by the Lindley family.
He was by trade a blacksmith, to which, in conjunction with farming, he gave his attention.
