General Notes: Husband - Abraham Lincoln Lindley


He was reared in his native township and attended the country schools. From youth he was interested in farm work and he came to be among the foremost agriculturists and stock raisers of that section. He owned 153 acres of valuable land. He paid particular attention to the breeding of draft horses, mainly Percherons and to growing the grade of sheep best for wool production.
