General Notes: Husband - George L. Lesher

He was reared to farm life, which he always followed. Working for his parents until he reached young manhood, he hired out to others for a time, and in the spring of 1886 began farming on his own account, in Jordan Township. He had a farm of 106 acres which he sold in the autumn of 1909 and moved to another farm in the spring of 1910. He and his family attended the United Evangelical Church. He was a Republican in politics.
