General Notes: Husband - James Lemmon


He was reared and received his education in Mt. Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he came to own a fine farm of one hundred and eighty acres. He always followed farming and stock-raising. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, a conservative republican in politics, and served three years as constable. He resided in the large brick house which was erected by his grandfather in 1829.

He was born and reared in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He engaged in farming and stock-raising and dealing all his life. He held the office of constable for many years, and was a member of the Presbyterian church, known as the Middle church.
