General Notes: Husband - George Fetterman McNeilly
He was educated at the local public schools, and upon completing his studies he took up farming and gardening, the occupation of his father. This he continued for many years, despite his other interests, and superintended the running of the home place. At the time of the organization of the borough of Dormont, when real estate values were increasing, he became interested in real estate in his region, and successfully operated in the same, and built numerous houses in the borough. He was a man of substance and of influence in his community, and took an active part in the life of the borough. He was a member of the Republican party, as was also his father, and was vitally interested in all political questions whether of local or national bearing.
He and his wife were both staunch members of the Presbyterian Church, attending St. Clair United Presbyterian Church, and were active in supporting it and its many benevolences.
General Notes: Wife - Margaret Lindsay Leeburn
She was born in County Antrim, Ireland, but came in her youth to the United States, and made her home in Pennsylvania.
