General Notes: Husband - William Mathews

He and his wife were natives of Ireland, immigrated to America when quite young with their parents, respectively. They were married in Fairfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in the beginning of the nineteenth century. They settled in Westmoreland County and were the parents of fourteen children, of whom five were still living in 1890.
