General Notes: Husband - William Patterson

---

He purchased a farm in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, soon after the arrival of the family in America, and remained there until 1833, when he bought 160 acres of land in Big Beaver township, Beaver County. Here he resided until his death, which occurred at the age of seventy-three years.

He was successfully engaged in canal contracting for many years.
