The Marshalls of Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio are descendants of the four brothers-John, William, Thomas and Robert Marshall-who accompanied their sister Mary from Ireland to America, early in the second half of the eighteenth century.

He settled for a time in Washington Coun­ty, PA, but removed to a point near New Athens, Ohio, where he died.
