General Notes: Husband - Andrew Marquis, Sr.

---

He came with his father's family to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, about 1810.
He was a carpenter. He was a man of strict integrity, and of great energy and thoroughness. He possessed great physical strength, and weighed upwards of two hundred pounds. Quite late in life, he united with the Neshannock Presbyterian Church, though, for years previous to this, he maintained regular family devotion.
