McDonald, Washington Co, PA

He attended the public schools at Allentown, Pennsylvania, and then entered Muhlenberg College, but left that institution in his freshman year in order to enter the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was graduated in 1891, and immediately located at McDonald. For four years he was in partnership with Dr. G. H. Cook, but afterward practiced alone. He was identified with the leading medical organizations of the county and State. He and his wife were members of the First United Presbyterian Church at McDonald. In his political affiliation he was a stanch Democrat.
