General Notes: Husband - James Clemson Whitehill
He lived with his parents until 1870, then went to Arkansas City, Arkansas, where he erected and operated the largest lumber plant in the state. He returned to Pennsylvania in 1882 and purchased a fruit farm near Meadville. He spent many years bringing his products to perfection. Was also interested in oil production in Marion County, Pennsylvania [West Virginia?]. They had six children, one daughter died in infancy. Three daughters and two sons lived in Meadville.
