He was a Lutheran minister, who at an early day located in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and for a short period ministered to the Lutheran congregation there. He afterwards united with Mr. Rapp's community, at Harmony, Butler County, and was cashier of their bank.
