General Notes: Husband - Jacob H. Ramsey

He received his education in the schools of Harmony and Grove City, Pennsylvania. He also attended school at Slippery Rock and began his business career in the timber fields of West Virginia where he operated a sawmill. He was thus engaged until 1913, when he returned to Butler County and became identified with a garage business at Harmony. Mr. Ramsey was later associated with his son, Arthur, and they operated one of the up-to-date garages in that section of the county. They were agents for the Chrysler automobile.
Politically, Mr. Ramsey was a Republican. His family were members of the Grace Reformed Church and he belonged to the Knights of Pythias.

They were married in 1886. [HBC 1927, 1155] But that seems too young. Perhaps 1896 was meant?
