Mrs. Krause passed away late Friday afternoon, February 26, 1999 at Bay Medical Center. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late Oren and Anna Mary (McTaggart) Lusher was born February 26, 1925 in Bay City. She was the Co-Owner of the former Krause City Dairy Store on Salzburg and more recently was a seamstress. She graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1943. She was a member of Ladies of the Moose Lodge and the American Business Women's Association for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Dale J. Krause whom she married on September 9, 1944 and recently celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary. She is also survived by two sons, Ronald (Nancy) Krause of Bay City, MI, and Richard Krause of Cadillac, MI; one daughter, Patricia (John) Schommer of Waukesha, WI; five grandchildren: Randolph and Robert Krause, Kimberly and Connie Steger and Tara Leigh Kruase; one brother, Frank (Evelyn) Lusher of Essexville, MI; two sisters: Deloris (Clete) Paine of Zepherhills, FL and Nancy Kiesel of Essexville, MI; several nieces and nephews; a lifelong friend Wilma (Charles) Mullen of Paduka, KY.
Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, March 2, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Carl Avery with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until services. In Lieu of flowers, memorial cards for the Family Wish Fund will be available at the funeral home.
