General Notes: Husband - Reuben Kratzer
He was but eight years of age at the time of his father's removal to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and there he attended the old subscription schools for a number of years. Up to the outbreak of the rebellion he was engaged in farming in the vicinity of Rimersburg.
Civil War: February 25, 1864, he enlisted as a private in Company E, 62nd Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He received his honorable discharge and was mustered out of service at Fairfax Seminary, Virginia, May 5, 1865.
