General Notes: Husband - Josiah Kooser
Beginning from 1834 he resided at the old homestead in Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
After working at the carpenter trade for twenty years, he purchased a farm in 1857. The first settler on the tract was Arthur Nugent, about 1800. John Kooser purchased the property in 1833.
Four of the children died of diphtheria in a single month, in 1871.
