General Notes: Husband - William Harvey Macbeth
He was a merchant and postmaster at McBeth, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
He was reared on the family homestead, receiving his education in the public schools of his native place, the Mount Pleasant high school, college, and normal school. After completing his education he was engaged for about fifteen years in teaching, at one time in the normal schools of Madison and Mount Pleasant. He then learned photography which he practiced for three years in McKeesport, and then abandoned for the occupation of a farmer and dairyman. He had a coal mine on his farm where he mined fifty or sixty thousand tons annually. His estate comprised eighty-five acres, and was situated one mile west of Alverton, near the old Zion church. He was a member of the Reformed church.

For a number of years she was organist of the Reformed church of which she and her husband were members.
