General Notes: Husband - Robert Lyon

He enlisted for service in the Revolutionary War; promoted from sergeant of the Twelfth Pennsylvania to a lieutenancy in the Sixth Pennsylvania regiment, Continental line, February, 1777; was taken prisoner by the British and held captive in Canada; after the war settled in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, where he died, aged seventy-seven years.
