Mrs. James Lusher Services Friday
Mrs. James Klee Lusher, 88, the former Olive Sowash, died at 6:35 p.m. yesterday in Macaluso Nursing Home, West Pittsburg Rd., where she had been a patient with a prolonged illness.
Born in Slippery Rock, Pa., March 26, 1875, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Jane Sowash. She was married to Louis R. Klee who preceded her in death in 1939. She subsequently married James R. Lusher who preceded her in death in 1962.
She was a member of Calvin United Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City.
Surviving are her four children: Esther Klee in Pittsburgh; Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Ellis, and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Herzog, both in Pompano Beach, Fla., and William L. Klee of New Castle; three sisters: Mrs. Ellen Hilt and Mrs. Ann Hilger both in Slippery Rock; Mrs. Pansy Johnson, Ellwood City; two brothers: Clarence Sowash, Zelienople; Paul Sowash, Greenville; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services have been arranged for Friday from the Leyde-Tanner Mortuary Highland at Winter Avenues with Rev. Lloyd A. Dalbey of Calvin U.P. Church to conduct the service at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary today 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
