General Notes: Husband - William Henry Lyons
Jefferson Line, Clearfield Co, PA
He has spent his entire life in the section of Pennsylvania in which he was born and was widely known. After his school days were over he worked for some time in the woods at lumbering. In 1881 he bought a farm from Ira A. Fuller and made all the improvements, which included the erection of a handsome eight-room frame residence, which was beautifully located and presented a very attractive appearance from the public highway. Mr. Lyons was a practical and intelligent farmer and brought his land up to a high producing capacity. He had a steady market for all of his produce, at DuBois, and made a specialty of raising potatoes.
