General Notes: Husband - John Kinports
Cherry Tree, Indiana Co, PA
The Kinports, an old family of Blair County, Pennsylvania, resided near Hollidaysburg.
He and his wife [Rench] were both of English descent. He was weighmaster at Hollidaysburg for several years; was constable for several years, in Frankstown, and held other positions. In 1845 the family removed to a farm in Cambria County, a farm later occupied by their son John, the residence being in Cherry Tree, Indiana County.
He was born near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and came with his family to Cambria County in 1845, having previously spent some time in Huntingdon and Blair counties. In the former he was engaged in farming and lumbering, and later at Hollidaysburg, Blair County, was occupied as a miller and millwright. He was a Free Mason, belonging to the Blue Lodge at Hollidaysburg.

She was of Maryland parentage.
