General Notes: Husband - Phillip Keck

After the Revolutionary War, he migrated with his parents from Northampton County, Pennsylvania, to Westmoreland County.

General Notes: Wife - Anna Catherine Klingensmith

Her husband died, leaving her with seven small children. In 1820 she picked up her possessions and, braving the perils and hardships of the wilderness, marched on foot with her brood, seventy miles into the forests to Redbank Township, then in Armstrong County, later in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. One pack horse transported the family's meagre belongings and the children had the duty of driving the family pigs through the tangle of trees and rocks.
