General Notes: Husband - Robert Alexander King
He was a soldier in the Union army at the time of the Civil war, being a member of Company K, One Hundred and Twenty-ninth Illinois Regiment. He was mustered in September 8, 1862, under the name of Alexander King, and was killed by sharpshooters at Atlanta, Georgia. He had married in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, soon after which he moved to Rock Island, Illinois.
General Notes: Wife - Margaret McKee
She was a native of Ireland, coming to America when but nine years of age.
After her first husband was killed in the Civil War, she returned from Illinois to Pennsylvania.
With her second husband, she became the mother of eight children, two of whom died in infancy.
