General Notes: Husband - William Henry Goehring
He was one of the early settlers of Butler County, Pennsylvania, where he located about 1801. He purchased 200 acres of land, in what is now Cranberry township, which he cleared and improved, and resided thereon down to his death. He was one of the original members of the Lutheran church of Zelienople. Before immigrating to America, he was a teacher in the public schools of Germany, and was a man of very good education.
