General Notes: Husband - Jacob Kimmell
At fifteen years of age he came with his parents from Somerset County, Pennsylvania, to Derry township, Westmoreland County. They moved into the old Guthrie stone house, which was built in 1795 and which was the residence of Jacob Kimmell thereafter. He always followed farming as an occupation and in old age was remarkably active for a man of his years.
He and his wife were members of Derry station Presbyterian church and he was a republican in politics.
