General Notes: Husband - Rev. Abraham Myers
He was a farmer of Somerset County, Pennsylvania, who moved to Ligonier township, Westmoreland County, and afterwards to Mt. Pleasant township.
He was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and when about twenty-three years of age removed to Westmoreland County, settling in the Ligonier Valley, about two miles from the village of Ligonier. He was a minister of the German Baptist church and preached for the Jacobs Creek German Baptist Brethren church for thirty-five years. He was also a prosperous farmer, owning an excellent farm of seven hundred and twenty acres, which he brought to a high state of cultivation and improvement.
