General Notes: Husband - Frank D. Long
He was born in Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, where he attended public and preparatory schools, afterwards graduating from a business college in Meadville. He began his business career with the Farmers' and Merchants' Trust Company, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, continuing up through the various positions of trust to assistant treasurer of that bank. In September, 1924, Mr. Long came to Woodlawn as cashier of the First National Bank.
Mr. Long was a Republican in political matters, and his vote and influence are exerted in favor of the interests of that party. During the course of the first World War he was active in the interests of Liberty Loan work, and he was one of the "four-minute" speakers in Greenville. His fraternal affiliations were with Lodge No. 290, Free and Accepted Masons, of Greenville; and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Consistory; the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks; and the Loyal Order of Moose; and he was a member of the Greenville and the Beaver Valley Country clubs. His religious faith was that of the United Presbyterian Church.
