General Notes: Husband - Adam Pore
He was born in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and soon after his marriage moved to South Huntingdon township, settling on a farm owned by his father-in-law. This farm afterward became the property of himself and his wife and there he passed the remainder of his days. He was a Republican in politics and a member of the Lutheran church.
He and his wife were the parents of thirteen children; six of whom were still living in 1906.
